Thinking about going with this set-up, and I just want to get some opinions of those who are currently running it....Do you like it?

How long have u been running this set-up?

*Blew two struts on my tokico blues, and would really liek to keep the sportlines so let me know, and give me some input on this set-up

I have had that setup now for aboot 3 years. I like it but I wish I had waited and bought coilovers. Everyone told me id blow my shocks, nope, never happened. Honestly, save and get coilovers.

Not in my price range right now...I already have the sportlines, I wish I could afford coilovers, but I am runnin on two blown shocks in the back.

Coils just aren't necessary for what I'm doing right now. Just want to know if the AGX's will last since my Tokico Blues have not.

not with sportlines.

From what i heard, they void the warranty.

But they should last you longer than the blues.

Also seen somewhere that 3F and 6R settings will increase the lifespan of agx's

TRUE. In my box there was a card stating the warranty would be vois if the AGX's were used with sportlines.

yeah, in my AGX box it says warranty is voided if there is more than a 1 1/2 inch drop on the car.

yeh ive heard the 3F 6R will prolong the life of the AGX's and thats the setting they will be on, and yes the Tokico money went right down the ****ter.........oh well the woes of gettin' the right set-up.

Well so far I'm not hating what I hear from the AGX's so I will most likely be ordering them by the end of the week.

Still lookin for opinioins of people who are currently using this set-up on the daily...

It's a very common setup. I've ridden in many a car using it and I thought it was fine for someone looking for a livable ride but wanted a decent drop - akin to S-Techs.

Coilovers simply aren't for everyone, but are obviously the choice if you're going after performance.

(BTW, Koni Yellows > AGX's)

Edit: Yes, it obviously voids the warranty but run reasonable damping settings and watch out for potholes/speedbumps and they'll last you quite a while.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!Again with the Sportlines!?

Didn't we all tell you the Sportlines will blow the AGX's? Where are your stock springs?? If you didn't toss them , pair them with the AGX's until you can sell the Sportlines in order to get better springs. Sportlines WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. It's not worth the risk and they sure as hell not worth keeping. And please just update your other thread instead of making new ones about the same subject. It's confusing other people.

ive been running agx/sportline combo with 1 coil cut in the front, and 1/2 coil cut in the rear for 3 years, no problems at all. no leaks whatsoever. i just leave it at 4 front and 8 rear.

Running AGX w/ Sus Tech in the project car... great setup so far. Nice and solid but not rattle your teeth out. Thing needs some ST Sways now and it'd be body roll free.
