Alright, I've searched and haven't found a solid answer. I'm looking to upgrade my suspension but don't want to purchase coilover's for various reasons. The main one being the spring rates are too high for DD. I was thinking about purchasing a ground control coilover system and slapping them on dampening adjustable struts, mainly because I can choose the size spring rate I want. My questions to you guys as a consensus is, which of the 3 stated in topic title are the best? KYB AGX, Tokico D-Spec, or Koni? Of the people that have run sleeve style coilovers, did you like them? Were they noisy? How was the fitment of them and what was the max amount of adjustability you recieved from them? I was also looking at the Nismo S-tune, which I hear is KYB AGX's with an unknown spring. I'm not looking for a huge drop, maybe 1-1.5 up front and 1 in in the rear max. The car will be wearing 18 in rims. I'm mainly looking for a more aggressive suspension, with minimal lowering... Let me know what you guys think.

imho sleeve overs are junk and i would never put them on my car, the design is junk and they are single height adjustable which is also junk. and there is no cheaply priced shock insert that can handle the springs i run.

you can get koni's custom valved for up to a 700lb (12.5kg/mm) spring rate

most of the ITA guys ill be running with run the koni's with ground control, depends on personal preference, and also the surface of the track, but theres people running anywhere from 6/5 kgmm rates to like 11/9 kg/mm

of course theyre all running hoosiers, but this is just an example

Ride quality is almost completely dependent on your shocks, and has little to do with the springs. Correctly valved dampers for a given set of springs will be able to give a decently comfortable ride even with very stiff springs.

This is why BMWs have a very nice ride but don't handle like a boat.

sounds like you want something like mine...Daily driver right.. smooth.. and want a better performance..

New OEM struts and shocks with H-tech tien springs, bigger sway bars in front and rear..

This gives me 1 inch drop in front and back..rides nice. and car feels better all around..cost me $400..
