Hello... AGAIN! I posted earlier asking the opinion of the KYB AGX adjustable shocks? Any opinions I have a set sitting in my closet, I don't want to install them if they are crap.

Basically looking for good street performance, but something I can play around with.

Car has a 2" drop, I'm going to get new springs and have sit 1.7" Or I might just leave it.

I'm really wondering about the ride? is it harsh? are they responsive?

I'm also going to be going from 15" to 17" rims soon, probably a 40 - 45 series and would like some comfort lol.

If they are crap I will just sell them and pick up some coilovers. NEED THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS!

The KYB AGX are a decent upgrade and tried by many NICO guys on this site. It should be perfect for what you just described as long as you don't go any lower or use any high spring rates. What springs are you planning on pairing with them?

They are decent for what you are trying to do. I would put them a step or 2 above OEM.

I love mine. Had them for 4+ yrs and autocrossed hard on them for that amount of time. But then there's the drift crowd and what they think. It's all up to you. If you want to tweak your ride height then get coilovers. (FYI, do not match up those 2" drop springs w/ AGX's, that will void the warranty and shorten their life substantially).

Wow, What spring are you using with your AGXs Sky?

If that's the car in your sig, it looks pretty low. What size wheels and tires are those if ya don't mind me asking as well, lol.

It probably looks low because I was shooting from the ground (well i was kneeling rather). I run Suspension Technique springs, they're about 1.8" front, and a little less in the rear (the specs are in the old stickied thread ExarKun made). I've had them forever, they are linear rated springs, and are fairly stiff (but not jarring) and make the handling very predictable. I've thought about trying out another set of springs but honestly they are so great I wouldn't bother switching. Only other brand of springs I would suggest are the RS*R Race springs which are pretty comparable IMO.

Wheels are SSR Integral A2 16x7.5 et 32, and 16x8 rear et 38. They're like 16lbs, semi-forged wheels, SUPER rare. I managed to score another set but got jipped so I was only sent a pair. I love 'em and they clear the Z32 calipers by a lot in the front. Tires are 225/50/16 Yokohama ADVAN S4's (UHP a/s), love them a lot--and i'm a Bridgestone fan. Me and Exarkun are buddies and he's an ADVAN tire rep, he coerced me into getting them.

Looks good!

I was just curious. With the Megan/ Koni Yellow setup I have, I still have some wheel gap...but f*** asthetics, because I love my Konis! I'm going to go back to a GC setup again in another few months.

Thanks. I think my car handles great, only thing i'd change is get *real* uhp summer tires for autocross season, but i can't afford to have all these tires as of yet. Plus summer tires are so finicky w/ temperature changes and have such short life for the money. I'll get some for next year *maybe*.
