Yes and the chicken nuggets are quite tasty as well. I must agree with the arby's comment. A lot of them do really suck. We got a good one though so it rocks.

Progressive rate springs = spring has a "range" of rates across its length, usually a softer rate on the outer coils to soak up vibration and bumps, and then a stiffer rate on the inside coils for hard cornering/compression.

A linear front and progressive rear setup means that you will "feel" more from the steering when you turn in, the fronts will compress consistently no matter what the road surface is because they're only 1 fixed rate. Progressives tend to suddenly change rates if they compress rapidly which is not good if you're pushing the suspension to its limits. Having the rears progressive will help you from rattling your a$$ off in the meantime (linear springs tend to be more harsh), and since the rears are more involved with power application than steering in RWD there's less of a need to have a fixed rate spring back there.

This is all oversimplified, check out the Suspension FAQ and other related threads for more detailed info on the difference between the two.

I have a question here. I just bought a mid-mod 240sx, it has a set of KYB AGX & Eibach , when I drove on freeway, when the speed reachs 50 miles per hour, then the car began shaking like a jumping horse. That feel is horrible, is that normal? According t o your post, it seems the problems should be the problem that caused by KYB AGX & Eibach, Right?

No...AGX/PK combo shouldn't cause that to happen at all. The AGX is, on its lowest setting, a slightly stiffer damper than stock. The PK has only maybe 20% stiffer rate than OEM springs. In other words, if that set was installed correctly, it should feel just fine.

Is the car shaking side-to-side, or are you referring to a "bouncy" ride up-and-down? Shaking at higher speeds is usually caused by wheels out of balance, bad tires, busted control arms and issues like that. Unless whoever installed that spring/shock combo really messed up, it should not be the source of your problem.

If you have the AGX all the way up to 4/8, you are going to get a very hard/bouncy ride on bad roads at high speed. Check the settings before you do anything else.

I checked my car today and the rims should be fine. And probably the installtion of those stuffs haven't been set right, I will check them out tomorrow and see what is going on.
