Just thought I should state that without NICO and specifally this sub-forum I would never have attempted and RB swap. I currently have an RB20 in my garage and am sending the wiring to Carl H because I'm lazy and he's smarter anyway. But anyhow whenever I have a question if search doesn't reveal the answer you guys are quick to help, so mucho gracias!

I know most of the threads in here tend to to be somewhat technical so for those of you who are reading this and thinking, "welll that's all well and good, but I want a challenge?" I do have a question, I searched a few different heading searches and post searches for how you guys have done the P/S but everything I find is somewhat vague, I'm really wondering how to get the KA p/s in the RB since that sounds like the way it's done, thanks in advance as always and keep in being helpful!

was your car dual cam or single cam? if it was single you need dohc lines. then you need to take the Hicas fins out of the rear of the pump. The bolt that holes the PS line I'm not sure on. I thought it was a S13 single cam but the one I have isn't big engough to fit my S13 so I prob should have kept my S14 one lol.

from what i remember you'll need to grind the ps 'extention fitting' a bit on the inside to properly fit the banjo bolt thru it again but use the banjo from the skyline, the s13 one is too small.gut the hicas pump by removing the 4 bolts on the back of the ps pump and remove the back cover only, then remove the fins, reassemble and make sure its tight.to block off the rear port just go to advance auto and get a m16 drain plug and cut the unthreaded portion off, reuse a copper washer from when you removed rear pump lines and you are set.oh yeah, and dohc lines are a must as yellow4g63 said.

Yeah I did pick up a 91 for a reason besides being infinitely better looking out front. Alright, I should be able to figure it out from that, I was gonna pull those four bolts off and remove the back section the other night but wasn't sure. You guys have used the Skyline's ps though and thru the advice listed above it will elimante the hicas section thus making the proper hoses attack to the PS lines and resvoir? or can I not read at all. Yeah still slightly confused... but I think I got it.

Not running yet but thought I'd let those who gave me assitance catch a glimpse of the current status, just need to get a new plug on the MAF and hopefully it will run good!

Ok, I lied, that's not current status, have the wiring and SMIC in now, and various other odds and ends.

lol.... clutch fan fits, i thought everyone knew that, but ideally run it with a shrout, although it's very close, fitting in a shrout is an issue. make sure the clutch on the fan is good, a worn out with whoply blades is going to be fun.

imo, this is jsut an excuse for me to get electric fans lol

Electric would be nice as well, and custom aluminum shroud is easy as 123 so I'm gonna bend one up and weld some brackets on, free bling right? Also fabbed an actual throttle cable bracket and removed the cruise for now and should have the new MAF plug and get it running soon! next couple days!

EDIT: Todd that engine bay seriously I'm gonna go sand my timing chain cover down tomorrow night when I work on it!

You mean timing belt? lol...

I didnt like the whole clutch fan bs and trying to make some rediculous shroud that may or may not work, but each his own. I went my own direction with it and we'll see how it works.

the clutch fan sits so close to the rad that no shroud is needed...trust me, ive sat in traffic on 85* days and my coolant temps never get above 84*c.

Ehh, literalists... belt I know, I replaced the dang thing.

No shroud needed, but I'm retarded and need a shield from finger discomfort.
