Ok...I've searched and Searched and Searched....I’m putting together an s13 im planning on making it a daily driver and occasionally use it for drift. I don’t want the suspension to be terribly stiff however I know that some what stiff is inevitable.

I have about 1500 to spend on coilovers their is plenty of info on the KTS but I can’t find very much info on the Super Drifts (I found plenty on the Old HE's).Are these coilovers Comparable? I considering these two coilovers mostly because they can by overhauled, it seems that other companies make the overhauling process more difficult.

Coilovers are a big investments and a important upgrade Please help me make the right Decision

I’m still open to suggestions so your opinions would be a great help..

If I left any needed info out please let me know....

KTS's are a step above Tein SD's in every way. Just look at the specs.

i have tein he's, but i am buying the kts tomorrow morning. aside from the inverted monotube the thing i like about them is you can have brand new coilovers basically for 550. no rebuild no nothing, just call spl tell them you need some new shocks, give them some money, put it together and wala new coilovers, no finding some coilovers or stock suspension to ride on when they blow. with the kts all you need is an afternoon to turn blown into brand new. gotta love that

Did you both searching? :p.

KTS all the way. Has survived OC/LA roads, autox, spin outs(:p), hard driving, rallyx, under-construction roads, everything I could throw at it basically.

Tein should be good/decent, but their rebuilding policy isn't as sweet/easy as KTS thru SPL. w000t!

I was debating between FLEX and KTS for a while... NEVER heard anything bad about KTS or SPLPARTS.COM. +1 for the "no down-time replacement shocks" deal, super fast $9 shipping, and from talking to people that have experanced both sets (flex vs KTS), KTS ws always the best! all the adjustability you need QUALITY parts, plus, you can spent the extra $$ on tires... Mine will be here with in a week , SPL just got a shipment in

BTW, i stopped researching the superDrifts when i read that they were designed especially for drifting as opposed to all-around performance.

just my 2 pennies, u have to make your mind up for what you want.

superdrifts ar 2.0 k/g stiffer at both ends. tein's rebuild policy is ship them the product and money and they will rebuild the entire thing. i am also having this debate for my s13. let me know what you decide on and how they work. i have been leaning toward superdrifts until i heard all the good things about kts

Out of those two, I'd go KTS, but in the same price range are Stances. I just went from KTS to Stances and honestly they are valved a lot better than KTS are. Also Silk Roads are awesome...

Just get KTS, SPL gives an awesome warranty with them and they really are good. I've had mine for about 1,000 miles and they are good. Run them at 1 front and 3 back and its still stiff.... but a good stiff! LOL

How about Tein Super Drifts w/ that EDFC system? It'd be real nice to drive around with coilovers without feeling every bump in the road.

I honestly dont care about rebuilding...as long as my suspenion lasts a lil longer than 8 months...(Tokico sucks butt ).

EDFC is the most worthless suspension innovation to ever hit the markets. It won't make you anymore comfortable. All it does is drain your wallet. In addition, it can only be used on inferior non-inverted front damper type setups.

Been daily driving on my KTS for somewhere around 2 years. Still love them every single time I get in the car.

I vouch for Stance or KTS, either are great coilovers.

Does SPL give us Nico any discount on the KTS? Plan to order some beginning of August so I can have them on before nopi...
