Ive been looking at and talking to people about coilovers..I don't need anything special, but i do want dampening and height adjustment, car wont be hard tracked or anything crazy like that. But below are links of the 3 different ones i have been thinking about. If anyone has had experiences let me know.

I've owned Megans & am about to get Godspeeds. I will let you know the factual differences - not internet speculation.

Sounds great. How were the Megans? And are they able to be rebuilt?

I liked the Megans. The Megans were harsh for daily driving, but offered more control than the stock suspension. Keep in mind the geometry of 240sx suspension arms is the limitation... it will never ride like a BMW M3, no matter what you install. There just isn't enough travel room for the damper. The best cars I've owned have always had super long damper tubes - almost twice the length of 240sx tubes. From my deduction, this makes all the difference.

As for being rebuilt, I did not worry about that. Why rebuild when you can buy a completely new set of Megans for the price of rebuilding two JDM coilovers??? Rebuilds on top brands are too expensive IMHO!

Am still waiting to receive the Godspeeds in the mail, so I'll have to check back later.

I had to pound on the front mounts to get them to fit the knuckles. Not a big deal I guess, considering I saved about $350 compared to the price of Megans, but I'm sure that pounding in unwanted stress on the welds. Another issue is that Megans ship at a height where you can just throw them on. The Godspeeds are apparently shipped all the way down. My tires touch the top of the wheel wells, and I will have to spend extra time figuring out the correct ride height, rather than hopping in the car & going back to work Monday morning.

I am yet to complete the install, as one bolt is fused to the knuckle. UGH. For some reason Nissan suspension bolts like to fuse themselves together. Since I don't have a garage, I had to take it to a mechanic who might have to torch the factory strut off there. But once this is all done, I will again report back!
