Just received my Ksport coilovers.

My question is, does any one (who have coilovers) have an adjustable top mount for the front coils or is that option not available for our M? Even with others brands..

The box doesn't even look like a Ksport box. Looks like a knock off to me. I don't recognize the logo on box..

Please share!

Might return these, was looking forward to the adjustable top mount for camber..

From what I remember, none of them are adjustable other than the dampening.

No offense, but shoulda went with BC's or D2's...

I don't think camber plates are made for our M's. I think it's done with aftermarket control arms.

Yea, just did some research. Will have to buy camber kits.

I just bought rear camber kit from Godspeed at $85. I'll see what the front looks like after the drop.

Why BC or D2? What would be the difference with ksport? Besides a few dollar price difference..

I don't know if it's just me but those look to be not as well made as BC's...especially the rears. But hey, as long as you're happy.

It might be you. I'm guessing you've never experienced ksport suspension? Well I have, in the past on other vehicles. They work great! You should consider them in the future.

The bottom of the rear shock just looks thin/weak.

The BC's are thick (same thickness all the way down) and sturdy as hell. Not to mention they have the protective boot almost the length of the shock itself...the KSports are wide open for dirt/grime, etc. However, BC's aren't a 'true coilover' (rear spring is separate from the shock). A true coilover would be the D2's (or KSports), but again, I don't think they are as nice as BC's.

Anyway...get them on and post up in the official suspension thread that is listed in the FAQ that I wrote. Enjoy :).

The ones I have from ksport delete the rear spring. It's actually a full coilover with spring on shock.

I wonder why yours are like that? What year M are those for? AWD OR RWD

That's not my coilovers (those have upgraded Swift springs in the image) but mine, other than the springs, were identical. They look the same for AWD/RWD and regardless of 2006-2007 or 2008-2010.

And yes, I actually just updated my post at the same time you posted in regards to full coilover vs non-full. It's just easier to work on when it's a full since it's all one...but I still believe the BC's to be the best quality coilover at the $900-1,000 price point. I plan to get them for my 2011 when the time comes.

Here's a video of a 2008 m35 sport. He shows his BC coilovers. Look like the non full coilover set up. The front coils have the same "skinny" bottom as the ksports.

I wish I could throw mine on right now! Lol

I'll post pictures on Saturday after I install.

The only coil overs I know of that allow camber adjustments built into the top are T-demand. Those ksports look normal to me but if you didn't buy them from an authorized dealer they could be fake.
