Does anyone out there have any experience with the Koyos? I'm this close to ordering one, but just want to be sure it's enough for my needs. I'm building the car ('90) for SCCA club racing, and the engine has/will have these upgrades:

K&N FIPKS&S header, no cat, straight exhaust (or dynomax bullet at most)JWT ECUBalance & blueprintBore 1mm overMotorsports flat-top pistonsStock spec head, shaved for approx. 9.5-1 compOil coolerAll emissions crap removed

I'm already seeing minor overheating when running track days, but then I haven't touched the cooling system yet. I would really prefer a drop-in unit, but if necessary will go with a custom deal like the Ron Davis or similar. I just really hate to spend a lot of $$$ on this part if not necessary, but would also rather get it right the first time.

Also, Enjuku has the Koyo for $350, has anyone seen them anywhere else for less?

Thanks for the help guys (and gals),

koyo makes nice stuff, I had one, then pulled it out during trouble shooting of my cooling system(air bubbles and such), nothing that could be called the radiators fault.

on cold days, it did require me to run it harder to get the full operating temp...I think it holds a bit more coolant, and its lighter, too :)-chet
