Koyo Radiator..SR or KA UPADATE

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

My koyo radiator came in. Looks good. Things huge. Anyways as for the outlets, the top is on the left (which works). and the bottom is on the right (which will require a long radiator hose).

Im happy with it though. looks like itll be able to keep my engine's heat down. as for the long radiator hose, that should be no problem. plus you probably wont see it.

as soon as i get my camera back, ill post some pics. Also this is for the s14. i couldnt find a KA for the s14, but you s13s might just wanna go with the KA one

Doh! Why krayton? I am not trying to be accusative I just don't understand... you say the SR is GGREEAT but then at the very end you say maybe it'd be best to get the KA....

lol sorry. but i was just trying to say for the s13 users, if you wanna save yourself the trouble (if you wanna call it that) and dont want to do a longer hose then go with the KA.

but my opinion, i say go with the SR. only one of the outlets is off (and its the bottom), plus you save money, and its bigger.

so bryson, go with the SR. i mean, we're all doing RB swaps. the rad. outlet on the wrong side should be no problem to overcome;)

FO SHO! Thanks for the info. I'll def go with an SR koyo :) I guess that means you have to get a Hybrid Monster Intercooler so you can be cool like me too! :)

crap, bryson i might of made a miss call. it might be the top outlet now that i think about it. either way one of the outlets is off. ill have to take it out of the box and check again.

but either way i still stand by my opinion, ill figure it out tonight

the top SR connection is on the right.

there are plenty of other radiators you can choose from that have the both of the connections on the left side. it would be 'easier' to just find one like that. The longer hose running in front of the motor isn't that big of a deal, ... but it is a tight fit, and depending upon which intercooler piping you use, it can get in the way, plus you'll probably use an accordian-style hose to fit it. Just an avoidable PITA if you haven't already purchased a radiator.
