Hey guys.. I was wondering which would be a better choice when replaceing the 240 radiator with a Koyo...the KA or SR version.

From what I can tell the SR version is the clear choice winner. Checking out phase2motortrends the SR radiator is abour 30 dollars less.. and is 3 MM thicker. The only thing that would be a problem possibly is Hose location.. please tell me if this is much of a problem at all.. otherwise I gotta go search the SR forum :(

Thanks a lot

Isn't the SR radaitor outlets on the left side??? Is the RB20DET outlets on the left too?? I know The RB25det is on the right side so I ordered a KA24DE koyo radiator.

I haven't yet compared pics of them.. I will though. I think your right looking at the pic of the SR one and the KA one... I can see they aren't the same... though I know some people stick with their stocker when they put an SR in so it must be doable

well if it is on the other side, then just gonna need an extra long radiator hose ;)

yeah it's on the left for an SR, so you would have to run a long hose like krayton said. but it's better to get the KA version cause you can run a short hose and still have a bigger radiator then stock. Since we don't have much room up front it's just be a pain to run the longer hose. Plus with the shorter hose you will get a much cleaner look in your engine bay.

93RPS13- YOU can get one from http://www.phase2motortrend.com

http://www.phase2motortrend.com/cooling.html (exact link to the radaitors) you can compare the 2 versions. The SR is 2 mm bigger not big enough to make me worry about it.

So i guess the RB20DET radiator outlet is on the right side also like the RB25DET??
