I just finished installing my koyo, i got sum probs, cuz im an idiot like that. One do i need the fan shroud? if so how do i make it fit. Two tha top mount brackets dont fit all the way, how do i fix that as well cuz im afraid that since i live in kali, many potholes and im afraid it might knock it out

PS whats tha best brand of sparks plugs and wires for a street SOHC KA, no mods for tha car as of yet x-cept tha radiator, im bringin her up to stock numbers b4 i do anything to it THANKS!

I would go with NGK plugs and wires.

DANG IT!?! i still havent found a permanent solution to the mounts, and the tubes that sat on tha shroud i do like tha help from the mech. that helped me but if i dont drive i die(i make no money) please anyone with a koyo on a sohc ka24e help!?!

i had a simmilar problem.... the top holes i made fit, so i could screw them in, i just zip tied the bottom on, did that about 6 months ago, no issues

yes you need the shroud. Cut it to fit. Use some plummers strap or zipties to fasten it or, if nothing else, some through the core mounts...

i am on a stock radiator right now with no fan shroud, because i figured it would be ok, and if it wasnt, id change it. no big deal. And under usual running conditions, it does fine.

and it has been 90+ degrees here lately too, but at the last autox i attended, for a brief time my coolant was boiling in the reservoir, but it cooled down enough for me to be able to finish the event.

best idea would be to get an electric fan, that way you can ditch the shroud and mechanical fan.

so yeah, use the shroud if you still have the mecahnical fan.
