Im not sure if anyone is using the N-Flow radiator which is the newer Koyo radiator. I just opened mine up and installed it yesterday to install it, its great quality as great as my last koyo i had on my KA. However on this one i noticed there is the normal drain on the bottom of the radiator and on the top there is also one on the same side as the bottom. I'm wondering why this is. Is it a bleeder? Or what else could it be?

Ill try to get pictures up but i still think its Very strange. At first i thought they had made a mistake but i dont think they mess things like that up very often. Heres a picture off FRsports site

I see it being affective as a bleeder. I really don't know though.

It is a bleeder for sure. that is a high point, then the water goes down, and comes up the middle section, then back down the other end to the lower rad hose.

Seems as if Koyo now just uses the same bottom end plate for the top...obviously a cost/stock cutting move on their part.

In regard to 'bleeding' it shouldn't make any more difference than leaving the cap off. The OE bleeder plug still works best, but I prefer just filling to the top, leaving the cap off, and squeezing the upper hose to level off the fill.

Do their regular non N-Flows use them too? I had a regular one on my KA setup and it didnt have the top plug.

Its definitely for bleeding purposes i emailed them and asked.
