kouki tails rice?

i have a black 92 240sx and i'm thinking about getting some kouki tails. i wanna know what you guys think about them, i feel that altezzas are totally rice and i cringe when i see them on a car, i like the way the kouki's look but i dont want people thinking my car is all "riced" out if you know what i mean especially becuase i'm not doing anything to the engine because 1- i live in california and it's a ***** to pass smog and 2-my car happens to be an automatic which sucks i know. so what do you guys think? do you assume a 240 with kouki tails is fast and if it's not does it seem rice to you?

For my car, I don't worry about what other people will think looks good or not. That being said, i'd rather be fast and nobody assume it, instead of looking fast, and not actually being fast.

I would build it and ride/drive it for me. Form follows function, not the other way around.

its nice i think to have kouki 180sx tail lights as of upgrade not riced out!! but yea...in cali cops knew sr20det when they pop your hood.so i think depends where you live and take your own risks.if you feel like uncomfortable driving around with those tail lights.then just keep your exterior sleeper looks and do more to the suspension set up as you dotn have sr20det yet.it will be the first and best investment down the line for sure i garantee you foo!:ylsuper

They are not rice.. they were stock on the 180...

But is this rice? I saw a white S13 coupe with the S13 silvia conversion up front... and on the rear quarter panel infront of the tires he's got Sentra SE-R badges....

I am with SmithSR, who cares what your car looks like? I sure don't, I focus on whats underneath those body panels. Suspension and motor will be worked on before I even think of exterior work on my 240, if I ever get it.

i say anything that is stock is not rice, im sure people say my type x kouki spoiler is rice but i tell them if you can get it from the nissan dealer it cant be rice. Now if you have a metal spoiler 10 feet in the air that cost 40 bucks, thats rice! but whatever i dont hate! do what you want... its not my car
