Hi, I'm doing a '97 s14 kouki sr20det into a '92 240sx swap and have ran into a couple problems.

1st problem is an electrical issue. the parking brake light/seatbelt/door light on the cluster stays on even after the key is out of the ignition. also when the key is out, the seatbelts will still go on and off when you open the door. possible ground problem?

2nd problem car runs like ***. we believe it's running rich. we did not find any coolant temp sensors in our harness done by heavy throttle. could this cause our problem? the fuel gauge and coolant temp gauge aren't working at all also.

what do u guys think it oould be? any input is appreciated. thanks alot

I'd change out the battery first. Then I'd wire the Check engine light from the ECU to the gauge cluster. The S13's check engine light comes from the ecu through something else. The S14 gets teh signal directly from the ECU. What I did with my 98 kouki SR into 93 was wire the check engine light wire to my dash for my check engine. If it runs like poo, there should be some codes. For the lights, I'd check my grounding for sure and check all connections to the lower wiring harness. The coolant temp senders are wired up through the clips by the injecters towards the rear of the engine. I'm sure Heavy Throttle did a good job with your wiring, you probably just make a few minor mistakes when putting in the engine. Anyway, good luck!
