Kouki Light Plugs?

So i was just test fitting my new set of Taillights [180sx koukis] and i realized that the stock 240sx plugs dont match with the JDM light ones!!! WTF so what do i do now? Can any one with the light set up help me out im pretty sure this was common when u guys got ur lights in :-) well thanxs for any help you guys can give. ill be posted on this topic

Remove the plugs from the stock lights.Cut off plugs leaving about 3" of wiring.Cut plugs off your expensive, shiny, new kouki lights.Solder the stock pigtails onto the kouki bulb harnesses.All the wires are the same color, so it's as simple as matching the strands.

oh ok seem simple but is there any other way[plug in/ cleaner install]? if not ima just do the wire solder and taping like you said. , Thanx

Soldering IS the cleanest way.Depending on you skills with the torch, it will take from 15 minutes to an hour. Don't forget to use some heat shrink sleeving on the joint.The actual connection is hidden from view and using solder as opposed to electrical tape or some butt connectors simply eliminates any issues with crappy connections.Big up's on the purchase though.
