I installed my 555cc injectors and wired up my Z32 MAF sensor , i changed the settings for the MAF on my SAFC 2 to 2in and 5out.. The Problem is when i go to crank the car it makes a bunch of clicking sounds like the battery is dead and then it seems to do some kinda self diagnostics cause i hear clicking all around the motor area for a couple seconds and then it stops ( maybe a dead battery ? ).. Another Thing i noticed was on my SAFC when i plugged the z32 MAF sensor in the SAFC2 reads the sensor and says the AFL is 28% without the engine even being cranked and key was turned to ACC only... could it be i wired the MAF sensor wrong ? PLS HELP ME !!!!

Make sure you charge the battery and have good connections.

You have a very simple problem, its nothing related to your maf.

There is something wrong between your battery and your starter.

I dunno. I wired up my Z32 MAF backwards because the wiring diagram threw me off a little bit on which way to look at the plug. That caused me a problem. I had to swap the 12v, and 0-5v signal wires.

And charge the battery. Geez.. lol That should have been a no brainer.

Dunno what to tell you about all the clicking sounds. Sounds like a dead battery, and your relays are going apesh!t.

Dead batteyr reason it won't start. Sounds like maybe mafs is wired wrong or bad.But if battery is low it can give off the wall reading on some things.

1, Charge battery2, start car, if no start, disconnect maf plug, restart. If it starts with the MAF disconnected, then you have a MAF issue. If it starts with the MAF connected but won't rev past 2500, then you have a MAF issue.

Do the above, get back to us.

It was the battery that was dead , i cranked her and she started ! buttt , i have a funny situation , even with the MAF disconnected and connected i can get her to pass 2500...I have an SAFC 2 which i got with the car and i've changed the in & out settings to 2in and 6out but she's running like porky pig ..I have tried to use the Hi-Lo settings and not having much luck with it.. i've tried settings others have put up but it doesnt seem to work.. here is a list of my set-up.. maybe someone can help me with some basic settings to get her to run without idling like ****
