Vehicle 1995 Nissan 240sx

I have converted my zenki to a kouki front. My question is for the headlamps. the connector for the projector does not fit the current 1995 connector. The obvious choice is to splice it with another connector but just wanted to make certain this would not affect HID placement in the future or can i splice those connectors to fit thanks in advance.
