I have a 97 240 and I recently upgraded my bulbs to Silverstar Ultras thinking it would it would improve my low beams. It did, but they still suck really bad. My lenses are completely clean with no damage. I cannot believe that they suck this bad. I do not remember my 93 hatch having this bad of light coverage. The saving grace is my high beams, they fing rock. My question is to other Kouki owners without HIDs or major upgrades. Do your low beams suck? And my question to people with Koukis with HIDs is are they worth it just for the sake of more light?

Are your headlights adjusted correctly?

Thats what I thought, I tried to adjust them further out but they are just too weak. They are perfectly adjusted left and right and as far out as possible. People next to me on the freeways lights overpower mine easily.

Was the s2000 swap difficult or hard to get parts? I am tired of guessing about whats in front of me. Lol. Most cars side marker lights are brighter than my headlights.

Many times when people ride in my car they ask whether my lights are on. Then I facepalm myself and reply yes. It really becomes a hazard when your driving on the highway and theres no light posts.

I'm about to just start driving with my hi-beams on all the time. Does anyone else do this? i'm just worried about blinding on-coming traffic.

I'm in the same boat with my Zenki. Even with the lights adjusted, low beams suck. I often drive with high beams on and no one flashes me...

I do sometimes drive with my high beams on, and no one seems to notice. I think its partly because my headlights are adjusted correctly and 240s are low so they don't shine directly into peoples cabins. Probobly because they are just a** bright as normal low beams. Lol. It makes me mad when a car next to mes turn signals shine a better path than my damn headlights. I look into the S2000 swap. It seems kinda pricey but if they are worth it then I am down. What was Nissan thinking when they made these crappy headlights? My S-13 and my Z32 all had decent bulbs especially when I changed them to Xtra Visions or silver stars.

I don't know how you could get much worse then stock s13 headlights, because mine truly suck. And I have brand new silver stars that are suppose to be better then stock.

I want to do a projector/hid swap some time soon. This is insane.

Oh and on top of low beams sucking, one of my high beams never works and the other randomly doesn't. Its great.

That makes me feel slightly better. In the fact that at least I have good high beams. I guess it can always be worse. Do you a bad wire for your highs?
