Thing that's really pulling me towards PBM is their no down time replacement damper for $100. Kinda thinking in the long run it'll save me some headaches...

Fortune Auto's eh? I want some of those myself. I've been on Megan Streets for over 3-4 years. LOL.

And Bigs1, those G35 wheels look goood. How much did you pay for them may I ask?

I've been looking for a second set of wheels to roll on so I can put my Equips away for weekends where I want to go cruise or something. :chuckle:

Fortune's have a 1 year warranty, can be rebuilt in the US, and it's $125 per corner to rebuild.

My new car, traded my wide body FD for it. Its a gt35r 530 whp beast. Its been trucking for 3 years now, in various forms. She is mostly complete now except for the glove box, I still need one to hold my registration. Yes the tires are stretched, but who says no to free tires. I will post engine bay shots when I get some. The front of the rotary sits about an inch behind the shock towers, and the top of the block is only half way up on the towers. It handles more than amazing, blows the doors of my FD in the turning department. It also comes in at 2500 lbs with full cage and gas, my FD was 2550 with half a cage and half tank of gas.

^ Thanks guys, this car is a blast to drive at events. It is much better than my FD was, to make a long story short.

Here are dyno charts.

Your talking about most s14's. This s14 has been extensively modified. The cage eliminates the rigidity problem, while being lighter than a caged FD. Really the only weakness you can't overcome without going pure crazy is the double a-arm in the front the FD has. I have driven both cars, this s14 rules my Fd. I have been doing events in my FD for 3 years. So you are right. This car is not exactly a pure s14 it's a hybrid. The way I look at it is more work had to be done to achieve the same results, but it's done now. The Fd is born with a much better chassis, but with enough fabrication and money the s14 can be as good. The Fd also has it's short comings the s14 does not have. The biggest being the gas tank placement, something not easily fixed in an FD with a cage. The s14 is also just a much lighter car because it's a thinner chassis, a problem fixed with a proper cage.

There not bad cars at all. Definitely a bit of a dark horse, and it demands more effort than some other cars. look at the sg-motorsport s14, it went toe to toe with vette's, FD's, viper's, m3's, evo's, and a slew of other cars and came out on top.
