awww s***! that's what happened to brizanden and he couldn't get it to work so he ended up parting the car..look into metal zip ties or some kind of metal support. I welded a strip of metal to hold my harness up

u gotta cut a little hole in your pinch weld on the body to let the harness go up above the pinch weld. do this now if your car is low. it completely f*** my car i replaced that harness and something else must have burnt up in another harness because of the short cause s*** still didnt work. me and a nissan tech looked at it for 2 weeks and couldnt fix it short of replacing all the harnesses which i wasnt gonna do. hope your guys cars dont end up like mine.

Man, those wheels look sick. What are they???

Oh, can someone give me some tips on aiming these freaking Kouki headlights. My cutoff is all jacked up and I've been messing with these adjustment screws for days. I lined up the litte red lines and the stupid leveler bubbles but you can still tell some things way off and it seems to be the passengerside.

Can't beleive this crap, I can build all my own parts for a LSX swap and install, but can't freaking amid my headlights.

What the heck? Back then my brother bought a pair for like $500.00 :

Anyways, I just bought my '98 two days ago. And I'm adoring it. I've wanted this car for 4 years. And I've finally gotten it. Though it's an automatic, I paid super cheap for it (in my opinion.) I'll swap it to a manual once the engine dies out.

$3,100.00

I could not sleep the night I bought it...It has minor problems, some small scratches, and a bit of peeling. But nothing a little repainting can't fix.

Oh, and it's got some weird exhaust on it...Not sure what it is, but I'll find a more casual one soon. (Maybe a stock one.)

I bought my HIDS off the sponser on here that started a thread. They work well but they do the same ocasional shut off when switching on and off highbeams crap. I was messing with the ballast to see if i could figure it out and shocked the piss outta myself. My roommate was laughing pretty damn hard. I should have known better but I was pretty intoxicated.

the problem is the voltage drop the ballasts experience when the hi-beams are turned on. I wired in a 600 uf capacitor to keep the voltage stable and it helped a lot but it still wasn't perfect...once in a while one of them would turn off it was annoying.

One time they didn't even turn on at all and driving home with only fog lights suck lemme tell you.

I would recommend against getting cheap HID's for your cars (sorry motoman lol) your lights are just something you don't wanna f*** around with

i agree that you dont wanna f*** with headlights, but i put these same cheapo ebay hid's in my girlfriends zenki and they work flawlessly! they were a single filament fixture (meaning that they were for low beam only) and i wired in a relay to come on when the highs were on so that when switching back and fourth there is only a split second to none they have lost power. this is the third set i have bought. and i have friends that own them also with no porblems. so you should just send me your old ones :)

fiznowler (what a weird name lol)
the ballast converts 12V DC power to 85V 35Wac you might as well hold on to a butter knife while sticking it in a light socket in your house lol
