I thought so. I felt sketchy about it too, but I was so overwhelmed to see a clean, stock, and decent mileage 240 that I just had to ask.

Guys i want your opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now i realize im on a nissan forum, but thought it be interesting to see what responses i get.

i mentioned this to spooled briefly

i have a 2008 s2k with minor mod, i have a chance to pick up a supercharger kit.

down side to this is i also need to upgrade the clutch and reflash my ecu, and i really dont have extra funds, i can sell a few things and maybe come up with 500 bucks.

i was considering selling my s2k, and im currently selling my s13 too, and picking up a modded s14 kouki. ive seen some good deals on some hooked up kouki with engine swaps and suspension. This route will eliminate me having a monthly car payment and allowing more coin in my pocket.

so s2k supercharged would be reliable, yet i have no extra funds at all on a monthly basis, and will also have lots of decent whp

s14 w/sr maybe not as reliable or as fast but more coin in my pocket monthly, what do u guys think

what would u do????

i hate being broke and i do EVERYTHING myself so id rather have a car that needs more maintenance w/out a payment than a maintenance-free car that rapes your paycheck every month

i am usually against buy cars that are already modded but if its a kouki w/ say a stock sr, coilovers and wheels then id consider it...i would look at the quality of the work that was done tho. Stock sr's have been known to be VERY reliable, its when you start cranking the boost up and doing drift events every other weekend will you start breaking stuff

yea thats basicly what id look for, relitively stock sr, with some coilovers and well maintained car, wit AC =)

not looking for crazy hp, 250-275 is coo, my main thrill would be a few track days at street of willow, time attack

this would free up 500 bucks a month, but i dont know, i love my car, but sucks to never have money to mod it, i dont even know how im gonna get the coin to get tires when its time.

time attack doesn't really wear your tires out, it's drifting that kills em.

Compared to drifting no it doesn't , but u also need some good rubber that will stick , that usually means low treadwear, right now I have all seasons on =\ no funds for good tires

yeah but you don't plan on driving on some super sticky nitto's right? get a set of light BBS wheels off an evo throw your track tires on them and they should last you a couple of events.

dropped the ish today

That's the problem, no money for track tires or track rims , I could use stock rims , still leaves me with no money for track tires, let alone track fees =\ hence my situation

The set up as it sits now is.....

Greddy intake manifold, stock exh mani with GT35R (soon to have external wastegate. I'm waiting on the wiring harness and some other parts before I start her up for the first time.

Parts I got waiting....Exedy twin disc clutch, (6)740cc top feed injectors, top feed fuel rail. And that's just the engine ;-). Wait til I start working on the interior and exterior.

i'm guessing you had to cut and reweld a t3 flange on your stock manifold? how much hp are you shooting for? 400? 500 on a daring day? lol

Yeah stock RB Manis are T3. They do come with T28s but they are sucky T3 T28s. 400whp is DD power....Daring would be around 600 which is more than capable with this turbo. Just have to have supporting mods...which...I almost have all of them.
