I noticed that some guys on here have jdm front turn signals. I bought a jdm bumper and was wondering how you wired up your turn signals?

the jdm turn signals have different sockets but you can swap them with the USDM side marker sockets. If you don't know what i'm talking about, look at the 2nd pic of the black kouki up there, it's that little orange reflector/sidemarker on the side of the front bumper.

The JDM bumper doesn't even have those so you wouldn't need that socket anyway. Just cut it off with enough wire, solder and shrink tube it onto the stock turn signal wires. The socket will plug right in to the JDM turn signals.

Then tape off the sidemarker wires, you don't want them touching with your parking lights/hazards on or you'll start blowing fuses.

turbo2nr, you didn't know about those pics of your car? lol

This is mine on the rollers but on stock fuel, JDM ecu, and only 12lbs of boost. the JDMecu wouldn't allow for more boost or for it to rev past 5300rpm due to boost. But have a new ecu on and Now I'm in buisness. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.nicoclub.com/forums/image ... aughty.gif" BORDER="0"> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.nicoclub.com/forums/image ... aughty.gif" BORDER="0">

Thanks spooled240 that was what I was going to do but I thought the turn signal lights were dual filament bulbs. But your confirmation was helpful and they work great now. Hopefully I will have some pics in a month or two after I get her painted, I don't want to re debut her until after she looks good again. Thanks again all the kouki's on this site deserve props for thier hard work and effort.
