What's going on guys? I just recently picked up a 97 240 as a bit of a project car I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction to fix some CEL issues. I scanned the car and it returns P0110 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit malfunction...P0105 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) circuit malfunction..and P0446 EVAP Emissions Control system - Control Circuit...Based on the circuit malfunction I am guessing its a poor ground or connection somewhere in the harness. Any advice would be appreciated guys thanks.

Let's look at these one at a time.p0110 IAT circuitUnplug the IAT sensor connector and test sensor with a DVOM. Resistance across the IAT should be about 2.1-2.9k at 68 degrees. Yes or no? If no then you have a bad sensor.P0105 MAP circuitUnplug MAP connector and back probe lt.green/red wire and black wire. Should be 5v. Lt. green/red wire is 5v reference from computer, black is computer (sensor) ground. White wire is signal return to computer. Plug connector back up, back probe white wire. Turn key on engine off and measure voltage, should be 3.2-4.6 volts. If not replace MAP sensor.P0446 EVAP canister vent solenoidUnplug canister vent solenoid connector and measure resistance, should be 38-40 ohms. If not replace solenoid. Back probe harness connector, brown wire should be 12v, if not check fuse. Yellow/green wire is computer control circuit. You can find these and other codes and circuit tests in the FSM.http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM
