Kouki 180SX vs Origin Crystal (tail lights)

okay, so im looking at getting some new tailights, and i dont know which ones i should get. so im looking to get NICO's opinion. the choices are oem 180sx tails and origin crystal tails. and dont give me that "its your car do what you want" bulls***.

Or get an e-bay set and make your own. Just mix a little of the desired color with some clear coat (in a paint gun). That's the correct way to do it. No gay films or sprays.

get the kouki lights if you go crystal light then just get them on ebay for $150i wouldnt pay over $300 for the crystals

most people don't own a paint gun and a compressor. but yes from experience the film will start to peel eventually if not prepped properly but when done right almost impossible to distinguish between the two

Koukis all the way. If you're gonna get those crystal tails, you're better off getting the ebay ones for much cheaper,

The PROPER way is to buy them smoked already as the D max smoked ones....

but for real though... the only reason I'd ever chose any other tail lights over the Kouki 180sx tail lights is because I couldn't afford them.

Otherwise... Kouki 180sx lights all the way.

You can get the crystal tails on Ebay for about 150$ shipped, and the smoked ones for about 30$ more. They come from the same factory and are exactly the same as the Origin/D-Max/whatever brand ones. Just letting you know.

In my opinion, the crystal ones look kind of weird on red cars though. Mainly because the red part does not stand out as much as it does on other color cars, so the two white turn signal strips end up looking out of place.

However, I have been thinking about getting them and putting amber transparent vinyl over the turn signals. I think that could look pretty neat, kind of a subtle upgraded version of the stock ones.

Yeah i would say kouki tails definitely look the best. But they would look better if the car had coilovers, wheels, and a chuki bumper imo
