I am looking for a set of front supension for my lowered car, I lowered enought to bottom out my struts very often even with a set of Groundcontrol, I am looking for a set of Koni FRONT only , I had custom made fit for the rear. right now I'm trying to seee which's the shortest koni insert that fits in the stock strut housing( I wanted Yellow koni with external adjustment) , can anyone tell me how to read the Koni product code? ex 8610-1320Sport ? I know it's sport and it's external adjustable 86 , but what's the lenght of the struts itself hwo to read the "1320" part? what about the vavling? anyone know how to read them? I know Motivational Engineering's made the shorten struts for us, but I want to save some money so I want to just tmake it myself , does anyone know which koni struts they used? what model is it? thank

I drive a Altima by the way

As far as I know, the Koni part numbers are broken down by construction type, adjustment feature, and body style but not by physical size. The prefix will list the damper by these features. The application you are needing is going to likely be a custom build. You can contact them directly and they can set you up with the correct unit based on your needs. You can reach them at 859-586-4100.

You can shorten the specified Koni by modifying the bottom mounting point. I was able to get about +.5" of travel by doing mine

i have a friend who shortens koni's and uses them to built custom coilovers for nissans. he has done lots of sentras and is working on his 240 now. if you give me your email i will see if he wants to contact you. he has figured out how to do it very well. his b14 has only about 190whp from sr20ve and has been known to waste z06 vettes around the twisties at vir.
