The fact that I can NOT find a comfortable seating position!

I am reasonably short at 5'4", and I like to kind of stretch out in reaching the pedals. My PGT was sadly an automatic, and I had the seat way the hell back...my legs were extended...it was great.

My 240 is thankfully a 5-speed, but when I have the seat back far enough to where reaching the gas and brake pedals is comfortable, I can't reach far enough to push the clutch in all the way. And vice versa, when I have the seat perfect for the clutch, I feel like I'm too far forward and up on top of the gas/brake. I hate feeling like I'm sitting in a chair when I drive... I prefer to stretch out a bit.

I guess I'll get used to it eventually. Just thought I'd rant for a sec. :D

HAHA! Short people are funny. Sorry I had to say that cause I'm tall (6'3). We hit our knees on the sterring wheel when we shift in some cars though, so there are trade-offs.

Lack o' horsepower. The only downside I see to the car.

My 240sx is the most comfortable car i have ever driven, I'm tall 6,5" and In most cars I hit my legs on everything, In that aspect the 240sx is a great car.

its safer to drive closer to the steering wheel anyway, your arms do not have to extend as far and when turning the wheel, since its tilted away from you, is a lot easier in fast situations. i noticed my knees hit under the dash when i start to get close to the wheel tho, heh.

It's true, they don't. :)

Mazda RX-7s don't have cupholders, Porsches don't, Ferraris don't, etc.

Besides...when you're in a machine made for a pleasurable driving experience, don't you want to be *driving*, not worrying about your Biggie-sized Pepsi? :D

A real man holds his drink in one hand, steers with his knees, and shifts gears with the other hand. That's what I do.

I reckon that bottled drinks are the way to go, regardless of whether you're in an auto or a manual. Bottled drinks don't spill under hard cornering/braking, and you can toss 'em anywhere if you don't have a cupholder.

Since when? I have a 95 se and I don't see any cup holders. I have to use a Koozie in the console instead.

I think he might be talking about the little square hole in the center console that is good for change and that's about it. A cup fits in there, but it tips over backwards under acceleration.

No, my leg isn't longer than the other, the pedals are just set to where I can't reach to have the clutch fully depressed when I'm as far back as I'd like to be.

I'm getting used to it though after having had the car for a few days. I'll be aight. :)

Thats why you get your biatch to hold your things for you when you drive or you can buy those $100 cupholders that I saw a while back.
