so why does it seem like no one ever uses them are they any good relative to garrett? why does it seem like no one ever uses them price? reliability? power range? the charts look like the range is good just as good as any garrett unit, and the price from what I have seen looks higer then the garrett but is that the only reason?

They have a big building in my town.

Kelly Aerospace owns them, so obviously they aren't a bad brand.

so just an intresting note I just went to the Kelly Aerospace website and found that they have resently aquired RAJAY and Garrett turbochargers. so seems like I am asking who is the better of 2 cousins at this point. still not quite sure why garrett seems to out sell though

I think most people go with Garrett because the direct fitment and word of mouth. If you look hard enough, you'll find that there are a ton of quality turbo makers out, just dependds on how much custom work you want to deal with getting them to fit.

Garret has been around alot longer....and they seem to have been used as OEM equipment for alot of different car manufacturers.....Awhile back I had heard that turbonetics BB turbos weren't true BB units (something about them using a BB cartridge I think??) but I never found any evidence of where that came from or if it was just a bunch of BS or not. I'm pretty sure Turbonetics makes excellent trubos. I think alot of ppl just stick with Garrett because of popularity.

A nice thing about turbonetics is that for the first year they replace/fix turbo for what ever reason, free 1 year after purchase.
