Hi All,

I noticed a knocking under the floor near my left foot when turning left or right. It seems to have started since it began getting colder out (Connecticut, we got the car in August). It also seems to go away after the car is warmed up.

Any ideas what this is/causing this?

Thanks!

Note: We haven't modified anything.

PS I did a search and only found one thread but the car was modified.

Magnetic,

I am also having a similar problem, but it seems to only happen when I am making a sharp right turn. I feel it in the steering wheel primarily when I am also going over some sort of bump while turning.

I got my car in January and I'm nearing my 15,000 mile checkup, so I'll have them look at it soon.

I don't know if this will help but a friend of mine had the same noise. His car is one week old today. Earlier this week he took it to the dealer and they removed a metal piece low down on the steering column. They told him it was some sort of alignment gizmo and should have been removed before sale.
