I've recently bought a used 2012 nissan Rogue I've been enjoying the vehicle and several features but, I have ran into a problem that has just started recently. Whenever the hazard light or the turning signals are on a knocking sound is produced in the front of the vehicle both on the left and right side. When the hazard light is on the sounds alternate from the left and right sides of the car. Other than that the car operates just fine :werd:

How loud is it?
I wonder if there are relays over there just clicking a little louder than they should be.

I had a similar problem but don't know if it is the same as yours.
Try looking at the headlight with turn signal on and see if the headlight is trying to adjusting.
On my case, its the headlight adjustment (the HID light) keep on moving even when it reach the limit, which produces the knocking noise.
First time its caused by poor quality led light for my brake light. Second time is because water get in to the turn signal light bulb socket which create a short.

My hunch is on some crazy relay's as well. But the above suggestion is feasible...I just don't see why the headlights would be trying to auto-aim with the blinkers on. Usually, at least on Infiniti/Nissan products, the lights turn (if you have the active lights feature on the vehicle) when a certain criteria of speed vs steering wheel angle is reached.

Hey guys,
Curious if you ever found a resolution for this.
I have have a 2011 Rogue, that literally starting doing this yesterday.
Left indicator is rapid blinking, as if bulb is out, but all signals, head light and brake light are working. When braking or at a stop, you hear an alternating knock from driver to passenger side. I've yet to check the relays, but that would be a quick fix if it's my answer.
Thanks!
