I am ordering knock sensors from InifitiUSA for my 96Q45.They emailed back and said that there are a couple of different kits available with the extra stuff to do the right and the kits include the sensors. The catalog link they gave me to choose one did not permit me to look up these kits.Any suggestion on what kit to order.Alexander

As far as I am aware of they only sell this kit: http://www.trademotion.com/par...=3221 and that includes almost everthing you need to keep you car running for another 10 years withou removing the plenum again, Besides for the damn injectors.

Or you could just bu the two knock sensors alone and chance it.

I checked out the price of that kit on the website you gave and the pricing was $820.00. dicounted from $1100.00.The price I got for just the Knock Sensors, intake gaskets and runner gaskets and KS hardness from Joe was $315.00.Can all the other hoses and fuel lines under plenum stuff be an extra $500?Should I buy it separately when they open it up?

Buy it all as you have to remove it all to get to the KS and its subharness.

Install new parts on the way back out for the same labor. Clean plenum, TB,IAC and EGr valves and lower runners while you ar ethere to as new clean. Consider plugs and VC covers if not repalced in last 20K or 3 years. Add water pump and thermostat if not changed in similar period. Cahnge to OAT coolant and distilled water.

You should be good for another 80K -100K or ten years if you keeep on top of fluids and filters.
