All truely active height control systems fail after warranty, nature of the beast.

Whether air or liquid, the seals wear out, nitrogen dampening goes flat, [just as any shock does] then the pumps and sensor get abused.................with any of these system EXPECT $4-5,000 in repairs.

I would be sure that the plenum and runners are cleaned to as-new condition, paying particular attention to the EGR port feeding the plenum. It makes a 90 degree bend that is a trap for carbon. I would also consider replacing the knock sensor subharness if that's not on the list. They're notorious for corrosion related failures.

EGR only functions at steady speed [cuts off at anything more than mild acceleration] so dirtests ones are those that spend sedate hours on interstates with cruise on.

This is only system where good driving is bad from a cleaning stand point....hard for some to understand.

This is a step that most dealers will skip and just slap the filthy plenum back on and not even touch, let alone remove, the lower runners.

Removing the injector rails intact and sending them to Deatschwerks is also agreat idea, especially in CA and AZ. If you do, tell them youo are from NICO and get some extra data back.
