knock sensor trouble

I have a 96 240sx and Im sure it applies to s13 as well

Did anybody here try to swap the knock sensor out or even just change the knock sensor sub-harness w/o removing the knock sensor?

I just cant seem to get to the darn thing... I really hope I dont have to remove the upper intake mani...

any help will be appreciated.

You may have better luck posting this in the Nissan Online Mechanic forum, lots of good help in there.
