Hey I need some help, lol I have a 1995 240 sx base model/ ka24de. With that being said I was able to get back to working it a few weeks ago and now I have some problems. I finally got it running great ! While I was putting on new intake manifold gaskets i noticed my knock sensor harness only had 1 wire going into the plug where it connects to the knock sensor. Then i looked into the plug and there are 2 pins, I pulled away the wire cover to see if one had broken off of the plug and slipped back down into the wire cover/ electrical tape and didn't see another wire? So I put it all back together and I now have a knock sensor bank 1 code I believe it's code 34. Did a grimlin come and steal one of the wires from my knock sensor harness or is my knock sensor bad? The KA idles and runs fine, well except the heater core took a piss on my passenger side floorboard last night and while driving home I inhaled at least a quart of antifreze, lol. I have searched here and other places and have been unable to find anything. Thanks for the help and I hope none of your heater cores ever break cause it sucks to take the entire dash out! I also have no EGR on it now, I didn't know if that had anything to do with the code?

most likely the code was from when it recognized it, and it is probably fixed, wipe the codes from your ECU or crank th4e starter 50 times to clear the codes.

(once a code is set, it takes 50 cranks of the starter to clear it, unless you do it manually)

I really am having a hard time explaining this.. sorry if that came out retarded.

Hey no problem, thanks I've got a scanner I'll go erase the code as soon as I get the inside of the car put back together and see what happens. On a side note if anybody ever needs a new heater core rockauto.com has them for $34 !
