I had some service done at the dealership a few months ago, and upon picking up my car, they told me that it was throwing the code for a KS. I was going to wait and have it done when I did my timing belt service. But in the past several months, I've noticed no appreciable power loss that would indicate the car was in safe mode (I've had 2 Js, and both have pulled the same), and my gas mileage in mixed driving is usually right around 20mpg. All hwy, I get around 22 mpg, which is only slightly worse than the best mileage I've ever really achieved in a J (~24 mpg in my '94).

Does this sound like the type of mileage/performace I should be seeing w/ a faulty KS?

Not neccassarily.

It could be running the engine way lean which is bad.
