KNOCK SENSOR

will a ca18de or KA knock sensor work on my CA18DET, my ecu is flashing 34, and im pretty sure that means knock sensor, also.... where is it located on the CA motor, thanks for any help possable.

did you wire up the knock sensor? alot of people don't when they swap the motor in the car... because the knock sensor is on the lower harness and most people keep the 240 lower harness (with no knock sensor plug). Email me if you want help, or come out to the wednesday night meet, I'd like to see another CA in the Orlando area.

where are the car meets at, im by UCF, also... the motor came with a harness, and i paid someone to do the wiring, so i dont know exactly what he used for it, but it came with the CA harness... i could use help on this, cause if i dont fix it, im just gonna sell it, and i dont wanna do that.

who's car did you buy? pictures? anyways, I can wire up your knock sensor if its not wired up correctly, thats not a problem. The meets are at Sonic on University and Goldenrod, Wednesday nights at 9ish. I'll be out this week if you want to come say hi. Probably going to be in my s13, but I might drive the s12 out.

Are you the same guy from south florida racing...? if so Im glad you could finally make it over here. If sean cant get it fixed ther is no hpe for. so if thats the case I say blow it up and get it on tape but seriously good luck you should get plent of help here.

yeah. im the same guy... i like it better here because there is an actual CA spot and not just an "import" spot, anyways, what time do you all meet at the sonic?

I'll be up around 9, I'm usually one of the first ones there (sometimes the ricers come out and take up all the parking, but they show up after 10, and actually haven't been out in afew weeks)

what do you look like so i can spot you, also i have a white hatch with no front bumper, i am supposed to put an intercooler on but the kit i bought is missing one pipe
