My car started knocking badly the other day and I got code 34. It knocks very loud and im not sure if this is caused just by the sensor or if it could be something more serious. I just dont want to replace the knock sensor and then have it still knocking. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

knock sensor wouldn't cause loud knocking sound. the knock sensor's working, but your motor won't last too long if it keeps knocking.
