knock sensor

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i found out my car sputters because of the knock sensor. is there any way to bypass it?

people have tried unsucessfully. Best idea is to just get a new one or find one at a junkyard (they're fairly universal).

i found a web site that said to put a 500k ohm resistor on it and make a ground wire (ground the left prong when the plug hsa the clip on top.)

so im gonna give that a try. i dont have 170$ right now that i can use.
