The engine lights comes on for my 1996 Q45. When I check the OBDII code it is P0325, which indicates a failure with knock sensor "Bank 1". When I clear the code it comes back in 15 seconds, again and again.

Since I just have two knock sensors, which one is "Bank 1" ? Is it on the drivers side or passengers side of the vehicle?

Youll want to replace both of them, because the 2nd one is probably going to go soon.....

Should throw a code for bank and sensor. 2nd one is after the catalytic converter and used for trimming.

I finally replaced the knock sensor on the driver's side. I am still getting the OBDII error message "P0325". I tested the knock sensor before putting it in, it measured 570K ohms.

Do I need to go to the ECM , find the wires and measure for a similar reading, in order to verify that the circuit isn't opened? I don't have the cars manual. Is there any easy way to find the wires?

What should I do next?

I have cleared the codes the the OBDII reader and the error message P0325 keeps coming back. I will try replacing the harness and the other knock sensor.
