Knock sensor code 34 - 1995 XE V6 4x4

My '95 V6-XE 4x4 is spitting out a code 34 for the knock sensor. It's driving fine in my opinion but I have no idea if I really need to replace the knock sensor or if something else is throwing that code up. I am having the hardest time just trying to find the knock sensor. someone told me I could see it from the top, but others have said I need to get underneath. I can't find it from either angle.

Any suggestions on where to look or if there's something else I should be looking at??

im not sure where the knock sensor is on a v6 but my 94 d21 4x4 with a 2.4 was throwing the same code and I got under the truck and had my dad rev the engine to listen for a rattle or something and it turns out the bolt for the alternator was loose from the rebuild I recently did and was letting the alternator rattle which threw the code so id check stuff like that before anything
