So my brother has a j30 and he came home and the car was overheating(ac blasting). Now it has a code 34 and 51. Im just wondering if im going to just have to replace the knock sensor and injectors.... or if there is something else that might have caused the knock sensor to go off that needs to be replaced as well

Overheating will crack a old Knock sensor with a quickness.Shouldn't effect an injector unless it was REALLY hot.If that's the case I wouldn't trust that engine much.

Injectors/fuel rails on VG30DE (and many engines) are thermally insulated (rubber bushings) from the intake plenum.
