So the light comes on yesterday. I take it in for servicing to Goodyear and they say that the code is PO325 and that it needs to go into Infinity. I check it out online and find out that it's the Knock Sensor. I found a replacement online for $144. Should I buy it and go to a mechanic or to Infinity to get it installed? Automotive dummy here. welcome to NICO.dunno much about the pathy, assume it's a vq series 3.0 or 3.5l v6. my 97 fsm for the Q says P0325 is the right ks [assuming you do indeed have 2. one for eack bank of the V].

as for parts, we have fabulous sponsors here, oem new ks s/b about $123.if you do have 2 [confirm please], absolutely you want to do both at the same time as labor will only be incrementally more.

i personally wouldn't trust goodyear service to even rotate my tires [they once put directional tires on the wrong side for me]; but of course that's your decision.

I agree with Jay.. You can get it here from one of our sponsors... Im 90% sure the VQ only has one KS, but let me get back to you on that. i know the other nissans only have 1 KS in the V6's but maybe they changed that with the newer V6s.

Either way.... Just find a "decent" independent mechanic to do it, not the chain stores...
