i have tried the search and have not found anything quite like this... i recently replaced my timing chains because the lower chain snapped. long story, but it has to do with the upper guide shredding on my 1991 fastback. everything has been replaced and torqued. we went to fire it up and it idles like a beast, shakes horribly and barely holds idle. pressing the gas barely does anything. i am getting the knock sensor code of 34. Compression test was 154/147/152/150 (1 thru 4). Leak down on 1 was 15%, leak down on 2 was 65%, leak down on 3/4 was under 15%. the valves i believe are bent from trying to start the car when the chain was snapped. (i didn't know it had snapped) should i try to get the valves replaced/ cleaned up or swap the head with a 95 that i have sitting around? will this head work? anyone think this could be the reason for my knock sensor code? timing and TDC were all done correctly and everything is together properly except the leak in those valves. any help here would be awsome, thanks

:help

Make sure all your timing marks are lined up and your distributor was set in correctly, to see the proper way your timing marks should be, I took some pics when assembling my KA-t. Check out http://www.ka-t.org
