knock off eBay Impul style grille on 08-10 Y50's

Hi All,

Trying to find photos of 08-10 Y50's with what looks like a knock off version of the original 650SE Impul grille, for 06-07 Y50's.

It say it first 08-10 years, so apparently it's been shaped differently to fit the updated bumpers for 08-10 Y50's? Anybody have any photos of how these look installed, having a hard time finding. Want to make sure if I order, I don't get an 06-07 version.

does the grill feel flimsy and loose on your?
I'm scared to break it sometimes when I clean it.

It feels pretty flimsy, but it hasn't gone any where in the 2 years it has been on the car so I'm not too worried.

To OP, I would search online before buying that one , I seen some that came with mesh grill.

Yea I actually had the mesh style grill on my 06, and pulled it off to use on my '09 but not interchangeable. So trying to find other pics of 08+ with the Impul style grill before I decide which one to buy.

some lady backed into me and damaged/broke the grille.

I got my mesh grille for my '06 M45 from c-mod grilles: http://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.com/ ... x?sid=2610
I believe they made that Impul style one for the '08.
I'm pretty sure it was made of fiberglass - seemed to be of decent quality, although when mine arrived, there was a small chip in the paint.
I just plasti-dipped the whole thing, so no big deal.

I've been looking to get the impul style grille on my 2007 m35x, but I can't seem to find it for '07 specifically. All I'm seeing is 2008-2010 and 2003-2005. I thought I came across a post somewhere that said different year grilles can still be put on, but I'm not sure which one that is or if that post was true in itself. Please - if anyone is familiar with this let me know. Would be great if something could work out and if not, oh well. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!

A member did put an '08 grille on his '06M, had to do a little modification to make it work, but I think it looks pretty good::
