Knock from rear end

Sometimes when i accelerate i hear a sort of knock or click from the rear end of my car. My dad said it was the universal joint. I don't trust my dad's knowledge about cars that much, he's far from any kind of mechanic. Anyways is he right? And what do i have to do about this noise?

does it only happen under acceleration? if it happens over rough roads and under acceleration it may be a blown strut.

if it happens under hard braking as well it might be the subframe bushings

how many miles are on the car?

I think it only happens during acceleration, i havent noticed during braking or going on rough roads. Im in canada so the odometer is in Km... it has 127 000k. So thats around 80 000miles
