I know its completely irrelevant and in no way useful but is there a way i can toggle the digital speedo pod to convert to km/h?

I was messin around in my friend's 1st gen PRIUS, and there was a button on the dash which enabled you to convert the measurement of speed. Which ended up drawing up my curiosity for the Zee's speed pod..

Yes. The owners manual explains how to do it. Very simple.

I think the original question is how to toggle between miles/h and km/h, am I correct?according to the local Nissan dealer, it can't be done without voiding the warranty, as this would be considered tampering with the odometer. He explicitly said not to do it. It almost sounds like it could be done...

^^^What? How is using a standard feature on the computer going to void your warranty?

Scroll to the speed reading using the top button. When there use the bottom button to switch between metric & english.

just to let you in on a little secret....the dealer doesn't know everything, as a mater of fast the sales staff generally knows only what features are listond ont he wndow sticker, the parts separtment only knows where to get the parts, and the service writers might or might not know what they are doing but they are getting paid on commision, and the tech's might or might not know what they are doing, they may or may not have any or all certifications and evne then they are limited to what they can do by the service writers and the internal protocal which is designed more abut minimizin their expence than yours

not to say that there aren't good people out there but from what I've seen they seem to eb a minority

hah. my and my friend sent his his sister (typical blonde looking teenage american girl which seems to have im stupid written across her face) to bring in his 350 to get a replacement ballast for one of his xenon lights, when she came back out she mentioned the procedure would take a couple hours and labor price would be kind of high due to the fact that they have to "take off the bumper and pull the headlamp assemblys out" obviously the guy who told her that was a cow and was just putting her in a scam hole. Not too sure if many of you know but you can replace those things by simply turning the wheel to one side and bypassing the plastic fender liner..few bolts and fasteners. hah. i can imagine all they do is hold your car an extra hour or so and say they are working on it, as they were "removing the bumper"

the book likely says to remove the wheel etc, and thats what they are gonna base the bill time on, the tech on the other hand likley knows the short cut, that way he can get a hours labor for a 15 minute job, and it's ntot he tech's fault, they have to make up for the jobs that take longer than book
