K03 are the factory turbos on VW/Audi 1.8T I4 (Jetta/Passat/A4) and 2.7TT V6 (S4) engines. S4 guys are pushing 350whp out of a pair of them, but at that point the turbos are pretty much choked. They aren't the most reliable even at stock boost levels on 2.7TT, and fail regularly on chipped S4s. K04 flow much more air and are the most popular turbo upgrade when the stock K03 blow.

For the KA, K03 would be horribly undersized. You'd be much better off with K04 if you go KKK route.

just thought i would add that K04's are found on the high output (225hp) Audi TT.I do have some K26 mpas. That turbo was used to the Porsche 924/944 and 5 cylinder Audi turbo. I'll look for the link if youre interested...

The K03 is already too small for the 1.8T engine that it is put on. It would be nothing more than a hot air pump for the KA-T.

The K04 is slightly better, but nothing greater than the T25 that is on the SR.

The K26 -6 that is on the 944 Turbo would be a good KA-T turbo. Expect boost to start building around 2500 RPM in the higher gears, and full boost around 3000 RPM or so. This turbo has around a ~300whp capacity.

The K26 -8 that comes on the 944 Turbo S model would be a good choice as well. It has about a 200 - 300 RPM spool difference thanks to the larger -8 exhaust housing on the turbo. It will make about 30whp more to my knowledge.

The KKK series turbos have a proprietary flange design. You can however adapt something like a Garrett T3 flanged housing to fit I believe. It would need to be machined to accept the KKK turbine.

Curiously enough, it's called "Big Collection of Compressor Maps!"

Thanks guys, but be assured its not for the 240...way too small for my liking...its actually for my bike, but no one on the gixxer fourms know a thing about turbos except that putting it on the bike will get you killed, lol...i knew the KA guys would have a answer real quick...i wish Nissan made a bike, lol...

What do you mean proprietary flange design? And why would i need to adapt a Garrett flanged housing?

That's a K04, but I'm sure the K03 is identical.
