Kingpin setup

What year did Nissan (Datsun?) drop the Kingpin setup in the 620's?

I believe 79 was the 1st year they used actual control arms w/ spindles. But it was the last year they made the 620...

Damn!! Its hard enough just finding a 620 here in NZ, let alone one from the last year of production. Ah well............

Did they make a '79 std cab short bed? I've only seen kingcabs.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them. But I know I am yet to see a kingcab in NZ
