UPDATE, THE ORIGINAL KOP MEET HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A NEW LOCATION. The meet is now being held at the Granite Run Mall on the corner of Routes 1 and 352. The same crowd from the KOP meet will be attending.

I don't believe it. Seriously. I haven't been to a car meet yet that didn't have some tool drawing negative attention to himself and the group when showing up/leaving. I'm registered on TriStateTuners.com but the DE thread is full of ricers/street racers sadly (the majority of them). I pretty much treat the philly autocrosses as 'meets', there is definitely zero tolerance for d-bags at events.

i agree with you skydragoness, but we as a whole are trying to cut down on it, which is why i posted the no tolerance. Just so that is in peoples heads when they come. Yea we do have quite a few ricer d-bags, but the KOP meets have been pretty successful with the exception of a few asses at the last meet, but they have been addressed.

However, the successful outcomes overrule the diminishing d-baggedness at this particular meet. Theres some that will never learn though.

Meh, most meets end up having losers, hard to avoid. Though, I do agree with you Christine, the auto-x environment usually turns down the ricers/d crowd!

Last event I was at, i was chillin in the spectator/autocrosser 'pit' area and i was eating my breakfast when a bunch of 'bros' (term i use for abercrombie-pop-collared-homophobes) in their S2k's showed up and all parked next to each other across from me. Next thing I know I see one of the head organizers storm over and say: "that **** you just pulled over there? with the revving and speeding throught the lot? Not tolerated. Don't do it again or you'll be banned from autocrossing with us" and then he walked away while the dudes were all looking at each other like "what was his problem?"

I almost choked on my food i was laughing. Sweet justice.

That's what potato guns are for.

I know it's hard.. esp. just this general area ..80% of people with modified cars are ricers and street racing dorks. I'd come out but I have a tuesday evening class.

IMAX theater parking lot

Take 202 to king of prussia, turn onto mall blvd, drive up until u come to the IMAX theater entrance parking lot is on the left side a vast long parking lot usually on the bottom end lined up.

let me know if u need more specific directions

JDM Will and I went last Tuesday to check it out. There was a good turnout indeed. Not much S-chasis love but good diversification. I would go again if I knew more S-chasis would show up. Gonna miss our Ikea meets.

No, to the left of it (if ur looking at the mall from rt 202) in the IMAX theater parking lot. Its the huge parking lot to the left of the theater on a slope, u cant see any of the cars until u roll down into the lot or from the top of the road.

Do it, ill be expecting it.

I'm gonna try to, i would really like to. But I sometimes my prefessor lets me out early or sometimes it goes long, so depending on what time I get out of class is whether I'll be there or not. Actually maybe I"ll just leave early lol
