just get 2 12's, 600+ watts, aftermarket HU w/ sub controls, and you're cool.

You need only one or two subs with an abundance power for them. One would probably do more than enough.

THIS is all you need. I had two of these in my Buick's trunk with two of THESE and it was absolutely retarded. When I put in something like some old Dre or Snoop, 2live crew, etc.... it was so loud and hit incredibly hard. The ones I had were older models, but the wattage, ohms and frequency was the same. The price on those subs is awesome as well. If you get two, and want a hard hitting bass, get a bandpass box. If you get one, invert it in the box. I highly recommend audiobahn products. They look gay as hell, but are great products, IMHO. I'm not a master of audio, like audtatious, but I have had quite a few decent sounding, retardedly hard hitting systems.
